Hey all this is a quick update to state that Injoit has been lately following the HTML5 trend very closely.
We have extended and trained our HTML5+CSS3+Javascript team and have worked on some pretty interesting projects already where the clients were extremely happy with results and quick turnover.
In brief, for those of you who doesn’t know much about HTML5 yet, it allows to build pretty sexy things for iPhone/iPad and Android, replace Flash functionality in iPhone and iPad, adapt websites to mobile browsers, use interesting layouts.
Check more about it here:

We at Injoit are also capable of doing such sexy things now. Our HTML coders team has created this page in Injoit Knowledge Base which we want to share with everyone:
Please feel free to share your favorite links and advices to update our knowledge base!
Last Thursday, June the 17th, Taras Filatov, director of Injoit, has given a short presentation on issues of authentication and in particular using OAuth in mob1serv and in Android apps in general. To remind you, mob1serv is a universal API for iPhones and Android and we are releasing Android libraries for it soon along with lots of other exciting updates.
Mob1serv uses a multiple level cascade security system second to none and it is difficult and unnecessary to explain it in one presentation. On other hand, OAuth is an open standard and helped us a lot in developing part of our security system so we were glad to share some information about it with Android developers community. Follow more updates in this blog and at mob1serv’s website and blog.
Check out this video made by our clients. The Gunslinger app featured here is to hit the Appstore soon. And it’s using mob1serv our universal server API for high scores, push notifications and data storage for iPhone and Android apps. Please vote for this video to make the app popular!
Too bad we at Injoit have found out late about the Geek’n'Rolla 2010 taking place in London. Too late to apply for startup pitches! As our mob1serv universal SaaS server solutions platform for iPhone / iPad / Android was certainly eligible and might have be of interest for VCs!
But we have decided to participate anyway, thankfully there was an option of paid startup demo table for 400 GBP which might be a bit pricey for startups but many people think it’s cheap for an event of such kind.

So is it worth to have a paid table at #gknr?
Hey so here are some of our iPad apps we have worked on lately, already in App Store, some becoming very successful! In fact, there are more projects developed and in App Store already, we have finished the work on more than 5 apps already but some are under NDA so are secret
And as usual we don’t have time to update our website portfolio, planning to update it in next few weeks with around 50 apps or so
Also some exciting news from us are coming, stay in touch!

Injoit is extremely pleased to announce our contribution to a world of great applications for kids, this being the “Little Colombo” iPhone game which went on sale in Appstore this weekend.
We are even more proud with this game as not only coding, but also all the graphics and sounds were created by our crew. And when we say we have made it with love, we really mean it!
Here is a video demo:

Here is our official press release for Mob1serv, we are launching it today:
Injoit and YAS, two mobile software companies specializing in iPhone and Android development, have announced a launch of a service called Mob1serv. It is believed to be of demand by growing numbers of mobile developers and publishers as the service takes care of server side of the things. Authors say there are few typical tasks which make mobile developers to put off their native SDKs and spend time on writing server scripts and setting up the databases. Such tasks as storing locations data for Google Maps, queuing Push Notifications, maintaining online high scores table are all now addressed by corresponding modules in Mob1serv. The idea is not novel, there are some popular solutions in the market dealing each with one of the mentioned issues.
“We would not have built this service if there was a suitable solution available.” - Taras Filatov, CEO to Injoit, says, - “The problem is that existent solutions either lack functionality or they expose your user to some social networks of theirs interacting with other users and other apps. Our clients don’t want that. They just want the app to work and users to have that online high scores table or Google Map seeing other users in it, but not the users of other apps. Users don’t need to know what is the web service behind that functionality, it should be native with the app. So mob1serv just does the job, silently. And our modules are powerful, the architecture is well thought of, so as result you can integrate incredible social interfaces, literally anything. The modules are like lego bricks, you can use them in combinations and build something new each time. Our clients are happy with how quick and reliable our solutions are. Now it’s time to share the secret with other developers.”
Mob1serv is distributed on a freemium model which means the basic functionality is free but it might start charging its users for some advanced functionality in the future. Currently available modules announced at project’s website allow to deal with Google Maps data, Push Notifications (both immediate and delayed, making it possible to create instant messenger or events notifications apps), online high scores and OAuth (providing transparent integration with Facebook, Twitter and Google services).
Project owners are inviting iPhone and Android developers to visit the website and register to start using the service.
We have received an e-mail from Amazon that Amazon’s Kindle SDK (KDK) has become available for developers to try it’s beta version.
Those developers interested should register at Kindle Development Portal.
We plan to master the KDK shortly so contact Injoit to develop your software for Amazon Kindle.
We have prepared a brief compilation for our clients to raise awareness regarding the new possibilities and challenges that are brought by emerging iPad platform and new iPhone development SDK which is already available. So publishing this list here with a bit of delay
Also please feel free to add to the list.
- there are certain technology/interface improvements/changes which need to be taken into account when planning new / porting existing projects for iPad
- it is worthwhile to start the development now at least using the simulator, to be prepared to launch your app in March when device starts shipping - this should help to win a bigger market share presumably
- Injoit has learned the new SDK and is ready to develop 100% iPad compatible apps from this very moment, so contact us for iPad software development
As it was with iPhone SDK, Injoit is quick to learn new technologies and become proficient in them. Here is a short update from us about the industry’s most demanded technologies.
Apple Tablet

Apple tablet is going to be announced today (read more about this) so we have already agreed with some of our clients to port their apps to Apple Tablet as soon as it’s available. It should be based on iPhone OS so the porting would hopefully be just a matter of reworking pictures and coordinates in XML files and for some of our apps could be even done w/o our developers’ involvement, but.. with Apple, who knows?
Amazon Kindle

Our clients from US report that Kindle is massive over there but currently all we can do as developers is subscribe to the news and wait until its SDK is revealed. Hopefully it will be very soon, as they promise, in February. We will surely master the technology once it is out, so you may already place preliminary Amazon Kindle software development orders with us at this point.
Android

Again just to remind you, we are not all iPhone and also do professional development for other mobile devices and Android is one of our favorites. There are lots of differences between platforms, for example Android allows to access more of system features, collect more data, for example, for statistics. However, interface handling is more difficult in Android and we find when do iPhone to Android software porting that animations and transitions which were pretty easily implemented in iPhone SDK, require much more coding for Android.
Our Android products are usually designed so that they are compatible with all Android devices starting from 2.0 and all screen resolutions.
Resume
So stay with Injoit, subscribe for our RSS/Twitter or better contact us directly to discuss your projects, and if you’re developer you know there are many possibilities for collaboration, and one of them is mob1serv.com iPhone/Android universal server side solution service we’re opening in February. Enjoy it!
